Welcome to podcast #19, an interview with wildlife photographer Ron Niebrugge. This Seward, Alaska based photographer spends his summers in Alaska, but during the rest of the year is researching and photographing sites in the lower 48. Best known for his Alaska photography, he has a diverse portfolio of wildlife images. His business model includes stock photography, assignment photography, workshops, blogging and video. His most recent venture is a location near Tucson, AZ where he has developed a wildlife photography setup with blinds and water features open to all photographers.
Ron talks about his boyhood in Alaska, his photography career and various business models he has developed over the years. An ardent believer in multiple income streams, he pursues multiple product lines and is always on the lookout for opportunities to advance his business and his craft. A genuinely personable guy, he leads four of his own Alaska workshops per year plus workshops for many of the name brand providers because he enjoys people, enjoys meeting new people and enjoys sharing his obsession with photography.
